The 125th ANNIVERSARY was held at the Armadale Uniting Church

The Uniting Church in Armadale is privileged to have a rich tradition deriving from the churches at Denbigh Road, Kooyong Road, Toorak Methodist, Grandview Grove and others.   We celebrated the traditions of the Uniting Church and its predecessors in Armadale and the surrounding areas on the weekend of 21 – 22 October 2006, as this year was the 125th Anniversary of services on the site of the Uniting Church at Kooyong Road, Armadale. 

An open day was on Saturday 21 October showcased the Church’s involvement in the community and in particular letting  all see some of the work of the community groups who use the hall.  Photos and memorabilia were displayed  and a concert was given in the church, featuring some of the groups who use the church and hall.   We also had a stall to sell crafts and food, and an auction.

On Sunday 22 October we  celebrated the occasion of the 125th Anniversary in our 10 am worship service.   After church, we continued the celebrations over an international lunch.
